Hey all musicians, poets, and comedians!  Want a place where you can practice your skills in a low key, non-judgmental atmosphere? Head on down to Cahoots Coffee Café to showcase your talents.  Starting February 2nd, they will be hosting an open mic night the first Friday of every month.  And for all you movie buffs, movie night is back starting Friday.  The last Friday of every month will be a new film, complete with free popcorn and drinks.

Congratulations to the Snowcoming court:  Freshmen:  Gage King and Garrett Sauter, Sophomore:  Trey Resor and Dyer Ball, Junior:  Josiah Mortoff and Lars Harmon, and Senior:  Eric Clifton, Braxton Meek, Anthony Duvendack, Parker Michael, and Sean Miller.  Court members and their escorts, please meet in the commons area today during homeroom for a short meeting.

Spirit Week is this week!  Tomorrow is College Day, Thursday is Tie Dye Day, and Friday is Spirit Day.

All players, students, families, and fans are invited to participate in an Angola High School Winter Guard fundraising event tomorrow at Buffalo Wild Wings from 6:00-8:00 pm for dinner or a snack.  Tomorrow, 10% of all food purchases (dine in or take out) will be donated to Angola High School Winter Guard.  Please see the office for a flyer you need to show to your server/cashier.

Attention Students and Staff:  The Hornet Café will be open today during homeroom.  Come down and enjoy a hot beverage while collaborating with your peers.  Hope to see you there!In light of the current events happening in our country and world, there is a fabulous opportunity to join our community in a common goal:  unity.  The AHS Choirs (both Vocal Point and Vocal Infinity) will perform as part of this unity program.  There will be a variety of speakers and other performances from those in Northeastern Indiana at this event.  Come support AHS Choirs and our community at this celebration on Friday, February 7th at 7:00 pm.

Mrs. Reidenbach’s 4th period academic lab will be meeting in the auditorium.  You will be eating 2nd lunch.

The Student Athlete Advisory Council is sponsoring a silent auction of autographed AHS memorabilia at the basketball games on Friday.  Bid on items signed by senior team members.  Winning bids will be announced at halftime of the boy’s game.

Do you have an interest in a career with animals?  The Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo is having a Summer Internship Program where students will gain leadership skills and work in the different areas of the zoo.  See the Guidance office for more information and how to apply!

Applications for Cosmetology and Primary Health Care are now available in guidance.  Applications are due on February 1st.  See Mr. Police if you have any questions.
