What does it take to support student success? At MSD of Steuben County, we believe it takes a community! We're so proud to have launched after-school tutoring for nearly 200 students with the help of almost 40 dedicated staff members. These extra literacy sessions are designed to help students shine on the March IREAD assessment. A huge thank you to our instructional staff for putting in the extra time, and an additional thank you to our transportation team for adding additional routes to ensure all students could have access to this opportunity! Today at Ryan Park, 3rd and 5th graders were able to code the Dash robot in small groups during STEAM class. Students were able to code the robot's direction, speed, lights, sound, and more while completing online challenges.

The MSD of Steuben County 2024-2025 school calendar was approved two years ago to help families plan for school events, including graduation. However, the Indiana High School Athletic Association moved all of its calendar events back one week for the 2024-2025 school year. Unfortunately, this has caused a conflict between the spring sporting events that our senior students will participate in and our graduation ceremony. We want to make sure that all of our senior students have the opportunity to participate in their extracurricular activities and their graduation ceremony. For this reason, we are rescheduling the class for the 2025 graduation ceremony from Thursday, May 29th 7:00 p.m. to Friday, May 30th, at 7:00 p.m. at the Hornet Football Stadium.
